The BCMS Corporate 'Poor and Needy Benefit Trust', Generating Hope in the Midst of Poverty...

‘The Poor and the Needy Benefit Trust’ was set up by the Directors of BCMS Corporate to support people living in some of the world’s most deprived areas within the Indian sub-continent. As part of this philanthropic activity, the Trust operates a school in Kakinada, in the Andra Pradesh region of South Eastern India.

As one example of the types of practical help and support provided, the Trust took the decision to install an industrial diesel generator in the school after it was left struggling to cope with almost 10 hours of power cuts every day.  The generator enabled lessons to continue without further disruption from local power cuts.

Members of the global staff of BCMS Corporate have also chosen to support the Directors in this activity through sponsorship of Indian children via the Trust, making a huge difference to their lives and giving them the chance of a better future in the midst of unspeakable poverty, deprivation and hardship.
