BCMS Corporate helps RW Communications connect
International M&A specialist BCMS Corporate has overseen the merger of IT networks expert RW Communications Limited and leading managed services company, Concorde Informatics Limited, part of the Concorde Excel Holdings Group.
The Uxbridge-based company, founded in the late 1990s by Russell Whitlock, specialises in providing IT related services predominantly to the SME sector in the UK.
RW Communications has grown exponentially since it was launched from Russell Whitlock’s home, leveraging his experience of the sector to sell third party software, networking infrastructure and managed services to a number of small companies. It has also acquired two other firms during this period – Ainsdale Computer Consultants and PPA Corporate.
Today, company, which has a turnover of circa £2 million, employs 15 people, is a recognised Microsoft Certified Partner and Small Business Specialist,and boasts offices in Middlesex and Lancashire.
RW Communications was bought for an undisclosed sum by acquisitive buy-out vehicle, Concorde Excel Holdings led by group Chief Executive, Colin Meakin. They plan to merge it with Leeds-based Concorde Informatics forming a £10M nationwide IT support and managed services provider, whose clients include Marshalls, The Bradford Bulls, Corus, Sheffield Insulations Group (SIG), Yorkshire Water and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
