BCMS Corporate assists in record management company sale

International M&A specialist BCMS Corporate has completed the multi-million pound sale of Churchill Filestore Limited, the record management company, to the PHS Group plc.

Filestore, which is headquartered on the Chalcroft Distribution Park near Southampton, is one of the South of England’s leading providers of records’ management services. The company, which has over, 100,000 square feet of storage space is home to 28 staff and serves sectors including healthcare, professional services, local government and defence.

Recently, the owners of Filestore expressed a desire to retire from the business and turned to BCMS Corporate to identify a buyer who could not only continue to develop the business but also maintain the high levels of customer service for which it has become known.

The new owners of Filestore are the PHS Group plc, one of the largest companies specialising in workplace services to businesses throughout the UK, including a dedicated document, record and data storage division - PHS records management.
