Why did you decide to sell your business?
A number of reasons but primarily family commitments.

How did you find out about BCMS Corporate and why did you select us to sell your business?
It was very old fashioned to be honest. We received a brochure in the post from BCMS Corporate and it all took off from there.

 

Did you consider any competitors of ours and if so why did you not use them? If you didn’t consider any competitors, why not?
Not really. We felt from the outset that BCMS Corporate was a company that we were all comfortable doing business with and so it has proved.

How did you feel the sale process was managed?

Overall the process went very smoothly. There were one or two issues but these weren’t particularly key.  BCMS Corporate was very thorough throughout the sale process.

How important was confidentiality and why was this?
It cannot be overstated. We needed complete confidentiality to ensure staff and suppliers remained settled until the process was complete. The handover itself was almost seamless and the company has not felt the change at all.

Did the sale process affect the everyday management of your company?

Not one bit. Everything seems to be working just fine.

We understand all your staff are staying with the company, was this an important factor in the sale process?
This was of paramount importance. Many of our staff have been with us a long time and we wanted to ensure their future.

 

Will you have any involvement in the business post sale and if not what does the future hold for you?

We have agreed to be on call for six months. After that we haven’t, as yet, decided what we will do in the future.

Would you recommend BCMS Corporate’s services to another company considering selling?

Yes.  We would definitely recommend BCMS Corporate to other companies.  

How satisfied were you with the sale price and terms achieved?
We would say that the sale price was satisfactory and so were the terms of the sale.

What is your overall opinion of BCMS Corporate?
BCMS Corporate were very professional at all times and apart from the two small areas where we feel there could have been a bit more advice we were very happy with the service and the way that Chris Ryanand his team worked with us throughout.
