Why did you decide to sell your business?
‘A job opportunity arose in the USA and I was considering options such as MBO but decided
selling the business was the best option.’

How did you find out about BCMS Corporate and why did you select us to sell your business?
‘I received a mailing and attended a seminar, it was a good starting point and I was impressed.’

Did you consider any competitors of ours and if so why did you not use them?
‘I had a choice of BCMS Corporate or another company – although your fees were higher I felt
you were more professional and had the resources to sell my business for a higher price.’

How did you feel the sale process was managed?
‘It was fairly slow going to start with but things soon picked up. I was very impressed with my
Deal Leader.’

How important was confidentiality and why was this?
‘Confidentiality was important – it was treated very professionally and no one knew anything.’

Did the sale process affect the everyday management of your company?
‘Not at all, my Deal Leader was superb and gave me the reassurance to get on with the daily
running of the business while he kept in constant contact with me.’

Are your staff staying with the company and was this an important factor in the sale process?
‘Yes this was very important – all staff happy and staying apart from 2 accounts girls who were
surplus under new ownership.’

Will you have any involvement in the business post sale and if not what does the future hold
for you?
‘Yes, I will still be involved in the business for the next year, I will be working on the integration
and growth of the business in that time.’

Would you recommend BCMS Corporate’s services to another company considering selling?
‘Yes.’

How satisfied were you with the sale price and terms achieved?
‘Below what was initially discussed – however became apparent this wasn’t going to be
achieved as the project progressed – aspirations changed and was satisfactory in the end.’

What is your overall opinion of BCMS Corporate?
‘Very good, professional organisation, would certainly recommend services, and have
done already.’
