After receiving numerous expressions of interest about Precision Monitoring & Control Ltd, the owners of the U.K-based leader in pile testing contacted BCMS to find the most strategic acquirer to help their profitable business reach the next level. PMC’s unique capabilities allowed BCMS to develop a large pool of potential buyers. From this pool, 11 were interested in learning more about the exciting opportunity. Five prospects had meetings with the owners of PMC, and two made offers.

Ultimately, PMC was purchased by Inspicio Plc, a private equity owned testing and inspection services company. The synergy in this deal stemmed from PMC’s capabilities in diagnostic foundation engineering, which were complimentary to Inspicio’s Soil Mechanics business and provided opportunities for each business to expand its customer base and cross-sell products.
